Marco

Anaya

Drawing on his training as an architect, Marco founded his own painting and sculpture studio in 2010, where he devotes himself fully to artistic expression. His creative process begins with pencil and watercolor sketches, which are digitally refined before being rendered in oil paint. At each stage, he explores different techniques and their possibilities, allowing him to preserve the emotion of conceiving an idea throughout the entire creative process.

His creations are composed of non-geometric elements in which lines play a fundamental role, acting as the guiding thread that brings to life forms and figures that seem to constitute an autonomous universe. These silhouettes acquire meaning both within the realm of individual imagination and within the collective one. His work shows influences that evoke artistic movements such as modernism, pop art, and surrealism.
